Patel has 25 years experience in the dental profession and he is committed to ongoing postgraduate education. His interests are Smile Design Cosmetic Dentistry, implants and orthodontics. In June 2007 he achieved Diploma in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also the Senior Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at Southend General Hospital. He is a member of the Clinical Performance Committee and the chairman of South East Essex orthodontic study group. Full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Association of Implantologists. His hobbies are playing golf, squash and skiing.

Kunju Patel Associate Dental Surgeon BDS (Lond), PG Cert Education Kunju qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1984. Her special interests are children's dentistry and prosthetics. In February 2008 Kunju became qualified in non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments. Her hobbies are keep-fit and skiing.
